Summary of what we store

Your practice portfolio, trade history, journal entries, watchlist, course progress and streaks are stored in your own browser's local storage. Clearing site data deletes them permanently, and we cannot restore them because we never held them.

If you choose to create an account, publish a public trader profile, submit a review or join a duel, the data needed for that specific feature is stored on our backend. Everything else stays local.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run behavioural advertising profiles.
• We do not ask for financial account details, because there is nothing to fund.

Your choices

You can use nearly all of TradeHQ without an account. Where an account exists, you can request deletion through the contact page. The full policy text, including cookies and third-party processors, is on this page below.

Cookies and analytics

TradeHQ uses local storage rather than tracking cookies for the practice account itself. Where analytics are used, they are limited to aggregate page-level measurement so we can see which lessons are read and which pages break — not to build profiles of individuals or to follow visitors across other websites.

Data you can send us, and what happens to it

• Contact messages: kept only as long as needed to answer you.
• Reviews: published with your chosen display name, and removable on request.
• Accounts: email address plus the practice data you choose to sync; deletable on request.
• Public trader profiles and duels: only the display name and simulated statistics you opted to publish.

Children and jurisdiction

TradeHQ is not directed at children and asks for no financial information from anyone. Because the service holds no funds and executes no trades, it is not a financial services provider in any jurisdiction; local financial regulation applies to the broker you eventually use, not to this simulator.

Changes and contact

No data is sold, and there is no advertising network profiling built into the practice tools. Analytics are used only to see which pages are read and where people give up, which is what drives the roadmap.

If this policy changes materially, the updated text appears on this page. Questions about what is stored, requests for a copy of account data, and deletion requests all go through the contact page and are handled by the person who maintains the site rather than an automated system.
